Have to mention that I really like the smell of this new cologne! A bottle costs $20 at Bath & Body Works, which is about half of what Gucci and the other big-name brands cost. Bigelow Barber - Black: Damn fine stuff. The mother of my children loved it right off the bat, so it's a keeper.

Today's Shave

My first blogged shave!
Musgo Real shaving cream -- which I'm not too fond of, so I switched for the second pass to Taylor of Old Bond Street (TOBS) Rose cream -- and a 1940s-era gold Gillette Tech razor.
As always, Proraso Pre-/Aftershave as the aftershave (AS) cooling balm. Gucci AS at the end. Three passes. Quality: 8.

The Daily Shave kicks off

Shaving. Done. Right. 

What's that mean?

Double-edged (DE) blade; a vintage Gillette or Schick razor, or maybe a new Merkur or Edwin Jagger; a burgeoning collection of new and old razors collected over the past couple of years; a badger-hair shaving brush; good lather from a cream, a solid, or a stick. These things -- these things need documenting.

Right now, I just want to get started with this first post. And a photo of today's shaving tools.
